NAVIGATION - Home Page

The Home page should be designed differently from sub- level pages.

Content on the Home page should match the needs of the users.

Use the Home page to indicate what the site is about and what content is available.

The site should have a good tagline that states its mission and is combined with the logo that links to the home page on every page.

Link back to the Home page from every page.

If possible, make it easy to access anything recently featured on your homepage. For example, after an article has passed from the homepage into the archives, user's may have trouble finding it again. Keep lists of recent articles on the Home page.
